Principal Software Engineer (remote)
A brand-new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Software Engineer with extensive front end experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript) to join a large humanitarian aid non-profit based in Boston on a remote basis. The Principal Software Engineer will be joining a very successful team during a period of really exciting growth!
This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Software Engineer who is looking to continue the excellent work the nonprofit does to support it's service users.
If you are currently an Engineer with strong front end experience and ideally some knowledge of nonprofits or want to use your skills for good then this could be perfect for you!
Skills that are required for the Principal Software Engineer are:
* 8+ years hands on software development experience
* Some experience supervising/managing/mentoring others
* Nonprofit experience is very heavily preferred
* Strong knowledge of modern Javascript, HTML, CSS
* Server side experience
Salary: $150,000-$170,000 (dependent on experience) + Medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance for employee and family, 401(k) with 4% employer match, paid parental leave, flexible PTO.
Location: Fully remote but with a Head Office in Boston, Massachusetts
